This policy explains how fees, payment methods, deposits, installments, overdue amounts, and external charges are handled for IXPath services, projects, and programs.
1. Prices
The price of each service, program, or project is stated on the relevant service page, financial proposal, work order, or invoice. Where applicable, IXPath will clarify charges that are not included in the base price.
2. Payment Method
Payments must be made through the official payment methods approved by IXPath and shown during registration or on the relevant invoice. A payment is not treated as valid unless it is made through an approved method or its receipt is officially confirmed by IXPath.
3. Advance Payment
IXPath may require an advance payment before work begins. Implementation may begin only after registration or agreement is completed, the required payment is received, the necessary information and files are provided, and any required approvals are completed.
4. Installment Plans
Where installment payments are offered, the user will be informed of the total service value, amount of each installment, due date or project stage linked to the installment, and any conditions for continuation of the service.
Enrollment in an installment plan constitutes a commitment to pay installments according to the agreed schedule.
5. Late Payment
If a payment becomes overdue, IXPath may temporarily suspend work, suspend access to certain services, platforms, or files, and adjust the project schedule to reflect the delay and the need to reschedule work.
The underlying contract allows service suspension when a delay exceeds seven days and allows termination when a delay exceeds 30 days, while preserving the right to claim payment for work performed and costs incurred.
6. Fees Not Included
Unless a proposal or work order states otherwise, IXPath service fees may exclude:
- Journal publication or article-processing charges.
- Software, database, or license fees.
- Proofreading or other external-service fees.
- Conference fees.
- Government or regulatory charges.
- Additional services outside the agreed scope.
