IXPath provides research support, training, coordination, and scientific assistance intended to improve the quality and professional preparation of academic work. Use of IXPath services does not guarantee that a manuscript will be accepted or published.
1. Independence of Journal Decisions
Decisions about acceptance, rejection, peer review, requested revisions, review duration, and publication timing are made by the relevant journal, publisher, editors, and reviewers. IXPath does not control those decisions.
2. Journal Ranking and Indexing
Any reference to a target journal, ranking, or indexing status reflects the information available when the journal was identified. It is not a guarantee that the journal’s classification, impact factor, indexing status, or editorial policies will remain unchanged.
3. Manuscript Rejection
A manuscript’s rejection by a journal does not, by itself, establish a failure by IXPath where the agreed professional services were properly performed.
4. Resubmission
Reformatting or submitting a manuscript to a different journal after rejection is not automatically included in every service. Any such work depends on the agreed scope of the relevant program, project, or service.
5. Publication Fees
Publication fees or Article Processing Charges imposed by journals are separate from IXPath service fees unless a financial proposal expressly states otherwise. Where possible, such fees should be paid directly to the journal or publisher.
6. Academic and Professional Outcomes
IXPath does not guarantee any specific academic, employment, or professional outcome resulting from participation in a project or program or from publication of a paper. Decisions of academic and professional bodies remain independent. IXPath’s obligation is to exercise reasonable professional care rather than guarantee a particular outcome.
