This policy explains ownership of pre-existing materials, client-specific deliverables, scientific authorship, training materials, and use of the IXPath brand.
1. Pre-Existing Intellectual Property
Intellectual property owned by a party before a project begins remains owned by that party. IXPath retains its rights in its trademarks and trade names, templates and models, operational guides and methodologies, general training content, internal tools and materials, and systems or software that it owns or licenses.
2. Client-Specific Deliverables
After all fees due have been paid, the client receives the agreed rights to use deliverables created specifically for the client within the scope of the service. This does not include IXPath’s pre-existing tools, templates, methodologies, or materials.
3. Scientific Authorship
For research papers and scientific manuscripts, authorship eligibility and author order are determined by actual scientific contribution, the responsibilities of each researcher, agreement among team members, applicable ethical and academic standards, and the requirements and policies of the target journal.
Payment, registration, or job title is not by itself a basis for authorship.
4. Training Materials
Without prior written permission from IXPath, training materials may not be copied for redistribution, resold, published publicly, uploaded to other platforms, shared with unauthorized persons, or used to deliver a competing commercial program.
5. Use of the IXPath Brand
Using IXPath services does not give a user the right to use the company name, logo, or trademarks for commercial purposes or in a manner that suggests a partnership, sponsorship, or formal endorsement unless IXPath has provided written permission.
